Do I detect some aembvalince? : )Aargh, I can totally relate. I am certain you are way better at letting go than I have been. Fozzie's actually had a fair number of applications over the long period of time I've had him, but all of them had cats or horses or lived in apartments with breed restrictions!Stevie seems eminently adoptable though I am certain you'll have some fantastic applications soon!I think we do need to be a bit choosy about our adopters with pitties although the drawback is that the longer they stick around, the more attached we get! Although, as you have articulated, keeping the door open so we can save more lives is really important. May you encounter the most awesome adopter ever!Kirstenpeacefuldog.blogspot.com

Aw, that sweet pup!! I have to say, I tend to gravitate toarwd what most people would consider homely' dogs. I love Chinese Crested and Mexican Hairless dogs, and the sweet old pups with thinning hair and no teeth always grab at my heartstings. While my current dog isn't outwardly unattractive by any stretch of the imagination, her insides are, and that is the reason I picked her. She was the only dog I fostered who had severe emotional and health issues, making her less adoptable' than the healthy, well-adjusted fosters I had before her. And when I realized she was a special case, I decided I had to keep her. It's like I want to keep all the unfortunate cases so I can be assured they have a good home.
