Fresh Step Launches Million Meow Mission to Help Shelters Find Loving Homes for Cats

Fresh Step® litter, a longtime supporter of the ASPCA, is upping its commitment to the ASPCA and shelters nationwide with the launch of its Million Meow Mission.

As part of the Million Meow Mission, Fresh Step has redesigned its Paw Points® rewards program to allow the public the choice to give their Paw Points to the ASPCA or another shelter of their choice, who can in turn redeem the points for free litter as well as cat toys and other necessities. Please visit freshstep.com/pawpoints to learn more about the Million Meow Mission and how you can choose to donate your points to a local shelter or the ASPCA. The ASPCA will use these coupons at our shelter, new kitten nursery and also as part of our Safety Net programs to help keep more cats in their homes and out of shelters.

Actress and Animal Activist Nikki Reed Hosts Third-Annual Catdance Film Festival Presented by Fresh Step Litter in Park City

Now in its third year, the Catdance Film Festival presented by our long-time supporter Fresh Step litter and hosted by actress and animal activist Nikki Reed, returned to Park City, Utah on Jan. 24.

Fresh Step presented Catdance as part of its Million Meow Mission, a campaign to help shelters and rescues find more forever homes for cats. For the first time, attendees mingled with adoptable kittens on the red carpet. Six featured films starring shelter cats were debuted at the festival along with a custom 14-karat gold and diamond cat dome ring worn by Reed. The ring is now on auction via FreshStep.com and 80 percent of the auction price will benefit the ASPCA.

Reed awarded the 2015 Golden Litter Scoop and a $10,000 “kitty” to grand prize winner for best feline short film Alana Grelyak, who wrote a screenplay titled “French CATastrophe.”

The 2015 Catdance films are available for viewing at FreshStep.com/promotions/catdance-festival-2015.
