An open-admission municipal agency, LMAS takes in thousands of animals a year and offers cruelty investigations, adoption services, community education, licensing and more.

The largest pet adoption agency in the state, KHS is a private, non-profit animal welfare agency that places more than 6,000 cats and dogs a year.
