Thanks to investigator Lisa Ling, who went undercover into a handful of Pennsylvania puppy mills, the April 4 episode revealed to millions of viewers the horrific abuses that go on in these large-scale breeding facilities. no one watched this?!
I believe we should take care of and respect animals and love them to pieces, but I really think sometimes you people take things to far. I believe in live and let live, you even have to approve what people say on your blog, so what's the point. If you were honest in the first place, why would anyone's comment need to have your approval, and furthermore, most of what you people say is a pack of lies to begin with. Thanks, but no thanks. I don't lye and I'm not about to start now. This will never get seen anyway, so as I said before, what's the point.
I saw parts of both broadcasts. having adopted a puppy mill mom it is very impportant to get these puppy mills shut down. She was lucky. she's healthy but I sincerely believe that the mill operators bred her at her first heat. She still has issues with trusting people. She's lovable but not real generous with her trust. Places like Petland that promote puppy mills must be stopped.
The first posting sure sounds angry... what is THAT all about?!
If you truly believe that what you're saying has merit, then why not put your name to instead of posting anonymously???
How has he ASPCA taken things too far? They look out for animals who are in trouble. What is wrong with that?
Anonymous,
get educated about the ASPCA before making yourself look stupid.
Possibly "anonymous" was somehow confusing the ASPCA and PETA?? I can't really see how given that the two organizations are *NOT* synonymous, but given the lack of literacy/education of some segments of the population (and I'm certainly not pointing a finger at anyone in particular)it's entirely possible that such distinctions are overlooked.
For the person that wrote " live and let live" you scare me, people that are disconcerned about the welfare of those that cant speak for themselves as with children and animals are not concerned with the perversion in this country statistically animal abusers are 99% of the time child abusers, now do you still want Oprah to stop speaking for those that cant speak for themselves. Why cant people that have nothing kind to say or add anything of importance just keep it to themselves for everyone who is concerned sake!!!!!!
OPPS!! Never get seen how ignorent can this person be, since the show aired hundreads of puupymill pups have been rescued and many "Puppy mills"been shut down, and PA. is going to cahnge the law and ban all puppy mills in their state, this is fantastic espescially since most puppy mills and backyard breeders are the Amish in PA. all thanks to Oprah dedicating an entire show on the abuse these pups are put through, perhaps the person that feels Oprah should mind her own business should try living her life in a crate than she may have a deferent view on this very imporatnt matter, not to see this will entirely put an end to these heartless criminals but at the least puplic awareness can assit in getting them where it hurts, their pockets! God bless Oprah she is a living Angel!!!!
