Pet of the Week: “Ears” Looking at You!

Nutella, lend us your ears! We really, really, really want to squish ‘em and pet ‘em and play with ‘em because they’re just so darn cute! We're tempted to let this photo speak for itself—but there are so many reasons to adopt this five-year-old honey, let us count the ways.

Our gorgeous Goofball is “the most affectionate dog you’ll ever meet,” says Trish McMillan, MSc, CPDT, ASPCA Director, Animal Behavior. “She loves snuggling, and adores playing with toys. You don't even have to throw them—she'll toss them around, shake them and play all on her own! Nutella gets along well with other dogs and would love a home where she can have a good walk every day and a warm bed to snuggle in. I bet she'll want to sleep under the covers with you!”

Please note that Nutella has been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease and needs to be on a special diet. She also has an underactive thyroid gland, for which she takes twice-daily medication.
