ASPCA Pet Of the Week: Dancing Tiger, Cuddling Dragon!
Don’t let Tiger’s name fool you—the most ferocious nickname we can come up with for him is “cuddle monster.” If he backs you into a corner, it’s because he wants you to hug him! If his face draws close to yours, be prepared for a good licking and thorough sniffing!
This six-year-old pit bull was a victim of neglect when rescued by ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement agents back in January. Now? He’s been dubbed Life of the Party! If you don’t believe us, just watch him do his circle dance.
Tiger definitely needs his energy channeled on a daily basis, according to Trish McMillan, ASPCA Director, Animal Behavior. “He is a great running partner and has good leash manners. He needs a bit of running exercise every day, and once he’s good and pooped, he loves a good snuggle!”
If you’d like to meet this oh-so-tame Tiger, please call the ASPCA Animal Placement department at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120. To see other animals who are waiting for homes, please visit the ASPCA Adoption Center online.
