Adoption Diaries: Catching Up with Old Friends
Elyse’s Adoption Diary:

It’s a puddle of poodles! Remember those 33 poodles we rescued from a hoarder? We still have a few left who are waiting to be adopted. The others “flew out of the kennels,” but the fluffy fellas remaining have some years on them and are considered special needs dogs. So they can really use your help—they deserve a great home, too! Calm and adorable, they’d make fine pets. Look how sweet they are in this video:
I went over to my man Jeb
to see what he was up to. He’s a nice guy, but he was definitely turned off by the scent of my hand sanitizer. (We always use the stuff after handling each animal before moving on to the next, for their protection and ours.)
Here’s some footage of Jeb for your viewing pleasure:

The white cat with orange patches on the bottom, Roscoe, seemed to be deep in conversation with his buddy in the cage. What do you suppose they were talking about?
Here’s more on Hennessy, the dog I mentioned a couple of weeks ago who knows how to charm potential adopters. It’s always amusing to watch a dog get his stuffed Kong at suppertime. All dignity goes out the window! Here he is as he “works hard for the money.”

Remember Lois Lane? I had to pay her a visit after she rolled over for me so sweetly last time. This time, she brought me a bone! Classic doggie cliché—I love it. I wonder if she remembered me!
