ASPCA Pet of the Week: Siamese, If You Please

Marvelous Maybelle is a stunning Siamese mix, if you please. And because she’s mostly blind, her other senses are in tip-top shape. She’s got looks, she’s got smarts, she’s got purrsonality—all that, and she’s as humble and sweet as your average kitty next door.
“Maybelle is extremely affectionate and sweet with people,” says Katie Watts, ASPCA Feline Behavior Counselor. And she doesn’t need perfect eyesight to navigate her environment. “She still gets around great and always uses her litter box,” Watts assures potential adopters.
Because of her poor vision, Maybelle does get scared around other animals, and is looking to be the sole furry inhabitant of her new abode. Won’t you be her eyes in exchange for her purrs? If you’d like to provide Maybelle a safe haven for life, please call the ASPCA Animal Placement department at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120. To see other animals who are waiting for homes, please visit the ASPCA Adoption Center online.

Is there a reason Google Reader doesn't show the whole post? I have to keep clicking over to the actual blog in order to read everything. Anyone else have this issue?
