What’s it Like to Cuff an Animal Abuser?

Special Agent Joann Sandano
Wanna know? Ask ASPCA Special Agent Joann Sandano. Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 17, we’ll be hosting a live chat with one of your favorite animal cops on the ASPCA Online Community.

You know Officer Sandano from Animal Precinct—she’s the agent who sports the high ponytail! Don’t miss this opportunity to chat up a real champion for animals. The discussion will take place from noon to 2:00 P.M. EST.
Please visit our anti-cruelty pages to check out previous discussions with HLE officers, including Supervisory Special Investigator Annemarie Lucas. For the latest news on what the ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement team is up to, read our Police Blotter.

It would be the best thing in the world to me. I wish more people cared.

You people have re-routed your concern for the human baby into a distraction--love for the animal. Get your priorities straight!!! The Nazis did the same thing. They took excessive care for their shepherd dogs while stepping carelessly over the emaciated bodies of dying people. You are no better.

To anonymous re: your statement about distraction between humans and animals. If you have not head let me inform you. People who are abusive to animals or neglectful usually graduate to treating humans the same or worst.

There are Human charities and Animal charities. It's your freedom of choice. Most people choose both. Nazis were brainwashed and didn't have much choice.

Isn't it possible to have compassion for both humans and non humans? Is there anything about this organization that leads you to believe that they don't care about people? Or...are you just attempting to inflame and incite? I believe the world is growing weary of your kind of rhetoric.

ASPCA - You obviously only want donations from Christians. Why else would you be playing "Christ our savior is born" music behind your video asking for pledges. Perhaps you would have more contributors if you had a broader appeal.

It really breaks my heart when dogs are taken away and euthanized because they are labeled "vicious". What happens to the owners that train them to be this way? Is anything done to them? If you know your dog is a biter then put a muzzle on the dog. But I strongly believe that if a dog is put down, the owner should be charged and take responsibility.
