This Post Is for the Birds

Today is National Bird Day. Didn’t you know—each bird must have his day! We’re working with the Avian Welfare Coalition (AWC) to help raise awareness of the plight of captive exotic birds.

Fun fact: According to the AWC, parrots and other exotic birds are the fourth largest population of animals kept as companions, and they represent the largest population of captive wildlife in the U.S.
