Big fan of: Doggy friends! Dermott really enjoys playing with other dogs, especially his pal, Caitlyn. He also enjoys lounging, and would like to curl up next to you on the couch.
Not a fan of: Moving too quickly—Dermott prefers to get to know you before cuddling or playing.
Special features: This sweet dog came to us in February 2014 having been abandoned. He is blind, but has adjusted very well to his condition. He is not yet housetrained, and will need strict confinement and supervision in his new home to learn to use the bathroom outside.
Dream home: Dermott is looking for a patient adopter who will help him navigate his new home, as well as walks outside the home. He’d do best with an adopter with some dog experience in a home with teens and up.
