I have a very dear friend, Jeff, who is a cancer patient. One day, while Jeff was in the hospital having an infusion, two teens broke into his home. They were on drugs and intent on mischief. In addition to damaging much of his property, they killed his beloved rescue kitty Patience. The perpetrators have been apprehended and will be brought to justice. In the mean while, I have asked, and received, Jeff's permission to put up a fund-raising page in her memory. Even if we can only give one dollar, it will help another shelter animal in need.
