ASPCA Wag-n-Walk Los Angeles, California Saturday April 25, 2009
On April 25th West Coast pet-lovers joined the ASPCA in Venice Beach, Los Angeles to participate in the ASPCA’s first annual Los Angeles ‘Wag-n-Walk’ 1.5 mile dog walk. Hundreds of California pet-lovers and their four-legged counterparts descended on Venice Beach to raise awareness for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals month and support the efforts of the ASPCA. Big thanks to everyone who came out to be a voice for animals and make this event a success including: all walkers (both the two and four-legged kind), Bark Avenue Foundation (who found new homes for eight dogs at the event!), KOST, KTLK, Karen Sharp, Stephanie Miller, Overland Entertainment, Capers Catering, Dr. Eric Anderson, and all the vendors, volunteers and pet-lovers who made this day a success. We are deeply grateful for everyone's participation and we look forward to next year's "Go Orange for Animals" "Wag-n-Walk'.
